A Highly Favored Servant

Walter Hester got the inspiration for his company, Highly Favored Services, LLC, while he was a student at The Bridge a few years ago.
“Our mission statement,” he says, “is to employ, encourage, and minister to those who have been hurting and suffering in bondage, but are now healed by the grace of God, and to aid in the rebuilding of their lives as they walk with the Lord.”
Walter hires only graduates from reputable programs, men who have by their commitment to God shown that they’ve got a foundation upon which he can build. God’s also been rebuilding Walter’s family.
“I have so much love for The Bridge Ministry; I can’t explain it,” says Walter. “The Lord used it to put me where I am today.”

Keeping Hope Alive

Dennis Weaver’s parents had tried everything to help him with his addiction, so his father gave him an ultimatum: get some help, or leave home.
“That was one of the hardest things I ever did,” says Dennis’ father.
After looking around, the only doors open were those at The Bridge.
In time, Dennis accepted God’s forgiveness, and then was able to work on forgiving himself.
After graduating from The Bridge in July 2007, Dennis fulfilled a childhood dream and joined the U.S. Army. He tells us that he would never have been able to adapt to Army lifestyle if it hadn’t been for The Bridge.
We are grateful that God is using this ministry to restore hope and fulfill dreams.
